No, Japan might not be a bad place for the bike. Looking at some of the Japanese web pages that I've seen, a fine French touring bike will be well treated there.

And, just think of all the other parts; replacement, repair and other accessories that a wealthy buyer might put on this thing once he gets it home!... That stuff alone could go another $2K....

Brian, you don't want that bike, really. It's a money pit. Well, that's what I'm using for my excuse, see, it's my size too.

Hey, Brian!, why don't you just build one of these little puppies for yourself?
