Oh yes.. That's what I meant, 'cause it is common to use 49s with other make chain rings/adapters etc. Rene Herse (which these aren't, I don't think) made his own . Maybe they are a set (spider + rings) made by another French specialist. There are Japanese Herse-like chain rings made currently..I just bought a pair recently to use on a set of 49s.. (EXPENSIVE!!)
