Are those still made for this model of crank? >>

No, Stronglight doesn't make anthing anywhere near the mod. 49 set up. You need to look closely at the TA rings on the 49 arms .. Normally these arms do not use a "spider" per se, the outer chain ring is directly connected to the crank arms. Then the inner chain ring)s) are attached to the big outer chain ring. The stock mod. 49 is this way as well as the TA Pro "Cyclotourist".

Your bike is unusual in that there is a spider between chain rings and crank arms. This spider with its three hole chain ring mounting and its odd chain rings are the part I believe to be a French specialty maker's item. The leader of that bikes owners social group was Dr. Clifford Graves... His IBTS (International Bicycle Touring Society) folk used many French suppliers for both bikes and accessories.

There was a TA Criterium adapter spider made (Mike Kone had a bunch of them, NOS and obscure he was selling for ridiculously low prices although he may have blown them out finally) I am not sure what chain ring those adapters use but you can be sure it is no longer made. Plus , it resulted in a racing range crank set when assembled and that seems out of character for your Meteor.

Once again, the most logical and functional direction, if you must change what you have (why do that anyway?) is to go TA chain rings in whatever teeth arrangement you want. That set up is so versatile that you can do about anything you want with it...
