Hi all,

A list member in Scotland, Mark Stevens, sent me a photocopy of a Campagnolo catalog from before they numbered them! If it had a number it would be No. 11 (maybe even10?) from 1951.

It has lots of new old information in it: The cover of catalog lists Vincenza, Italy and Cognin, France addresses (Cognin address does not appear on #12 catalog). The Gran Sport (Tullio Campagnolo's first parallelogram rear derailleur) is shown hooked up to bar end shifters, the down tube shifters were offered slightly later. It also shows the Sport front derailleur (the one with the stubby QR lever that shoves the chain sideways), but not the rear Sport (single pulley) derailleur. Also shows a real strange fixture for the chain and seat stays that is not in the 1953 No. 12 catalog. Also photos of Hugo Koblet (1951 TdF winner), Fausto Coppi, Gino Bartali, Toni Bevilacqua, and Brick Schotte

I thought maybe you listmembers would like a copy, especially listmembers that have Catalog Campagnolo (1953 to 1984) already, so I'm offering a copy (actually produced by scanning each page for better reproduction) for $6.00 postpaid. It's 24 pages with a color cover and acetate on the front for protection.
