I think the gold plated Pierce Arrow head badges were some of the finest. I've been told that the pair that I have are of the more common, less desireable, newer kind. But they're right up there with my all time favorites, with the gold finish that never loses it's shine. I'm happy to own them. Some early Iver Johnson badges I have seen were quite ornate too. And, of all things, the badge on my mid-60's Puch Bergmeister is one fine, and fancy decoration too.
