Thanks to Brian and Charles for clarifying what I had suspected, that the Colnago frame originally had no braze-ons. I knew that the decals were not correct and are from a much later model. I should have mentioned that in my original post.

There's something appealing about a frame with no braze-ons. A great, clean look for a fixed gear, or equally pretty with all the chrome cable clamps and guides nicely polished. I have a nice, braze-on-less '72 Witcomb that's been posted for sale on the CR classified for some time, generating little interest. It's a great frame, but a 50x53 (c-c), which is too small for me, or I'd keep it. I'd really like to have something similar, with no braze-ons, in a 55 or 56. So, I'm making another plea for any interest. I'd like to sell this frame for $300 OBO or, better yet, trade for something similar. Any interest out there in CR land?
