Hi all, Does anyone know what the deal is with Classic Bikes in Essex, UK? I understand that the business just changed hands. I inquired in mid February about a price list, being especially interested in the supposed large stocks of framebuilding supplies stocked. Mr. Etherton replied, saying he would send an 11page list. After about a month, having heard of the new ownership, I sent another request, stating that I was most interested in lugs, etc. The new owner, whose name I dont recall, replied that no framebuilding supplies were available, and as for other requests, the stock is too dynamic to produce a list; availability and prices would be provided in response to specific inquiries. Fair enough-this is understandable. I made one more polite inquiry as to weather the frame bits had passed into other hands, who might be selling. A terse "sorry, none available " was the reply. Did this stuff exist? Did I commit an unwitting faux pas? Also, I have a fairly large number of Prugnat lugs (2 styles: S4 and long point w/scrolls, like Mercian Pro). I might trade for other interesting lugs. Thanks.

Best Regards,
Wes Gadd
