Hi Duane,

I can't help much on this topic except that last month at the Monsen, MA swap meet an individual had a Raleigh Team Pro cyclocross bike for sale. It was the usual team colors and my attraction to it was that at quick glance thought it was a Team Pro road bike (which I'd like to have if anyone has an original 56/57cm frameset/complete bike for sale). I spoke with the owner and he told me that it was brought over from England by the previous owner but was never imported into the states due to such a low demand/interest in cyclocross in the late 70's. It clearly had longer chainstays than a road bike and was outfitted with relatively modern components; due to my lack of interest, I didn't investigate further. Maybe someone else from the list that attended the show knows the owners name?

Eric "nothing very factual, but maybe of some interest anyhow" Elman
