I've been reading those posts about things Simplex and thought now would be a good time to ask a couple of questions.
Last weekend I bought a set of simplex levers they are both on the same boss. The smaller one actuating the front mech (or rear mech tension) the larger one actuating the rear mech. do both these levers fit onto the standard simplex boss? or is there a longer boss for them?
Also At the same time I bought a Simplex juy 53 front mech, cable operated working on some sort of rack and pinion method. this obviously goes with the afore mentioned levers as the cable pull is from the right hand side. When did Simplex produce this Juy 53 = 1953 ??
Any help would be good.
