I have a pair of wheels where the rear is Campy LF and a Nisi rim. Sure it works but why would you want to do it? I always recommend 3x and think 4x is a bit silly. Sure we could argue about this for days, but as someone whos built thousands of wheels professionaly I'd say go with the 3x since you asked. Please let's not start the 3x vs. 4x debate, since we just had it 6 months ago. I'm sure there are some things that haven't been said in the debate but before posting to me or the list please check the archives.
