I have sorted out some more books which have come from a friend who died recently. All items are priced in $. Postage will be extra charged at cost. Enquire for actual cost if you like before deciding. Payment can be made in cash with dollars or by money order in Pounds sterling ($1.40 to 1 pound sterling). The Raleigh Book of Cycling edit by Reg Shaw published by Peter Davies 1975 218pp Covers most aspects of cycling as you¹d expect for a Raleigh cycling book but excellent chapters on cycle sport by J B Wadley and a chapter on building your own racing bike by Harry Hall illustrated with a few nice line drawings of components. J B Wadley was one of the best cycling journos of the 1950 to 1970 era. A few nice racing photos. Hardback with dustjacket. Condition is generally excellent though dustjacket has a two very small tears and there¹s a few pencil notes on the contents page $25

Cycling Yearbook by Noel Henderson published by Pelham 1970. 128pp Covers the whole of the 1970 season both in Britain and the world. Chapters on cyclo-cross, time trials record breaking road racingThe Tour of Britain, the World Championships, the big three Tours and the Clasics. Special chapters writteby Beryl Burton, Les West and Hugh Porter. Excellent condition hardback with virtually perfect colour dustjacket and some good photos. $20

The Moultoneer the magazine of the Moulton Owner¹s Club issues 22 (June/July 1991) to 46 (Autumn 1996). A4 magazine averaging 28pp an issue with masses for anyone interested in Moultons of any age. Excellent condition Less than $2 an issue only $45 for the run.

Tony Doyle Six-day rider by Geoffrey Nicholson Published by Springfield Books 1992. 192pp Excellent biography with plenty of photos. Hardback with colour dustjacket (a couple of small tears) but otherwise excellent. Rare autographed copy. $25

The Uncrowned Kings of Cycling by Roger St Pierre Published by Kennedy Bros early 1970s 46pp With chapters and photos on Bartyali, Koblet, Magni, de Bruyne, Gaul and Bahamontes. Softback, slightly gruibby cover with some pen marks on rear. Not common. $15

Cycling Record Souvenir Edition 1868­1968 World Centenary of Cycling Racing 32pp Absolutely fasinating little booklet with ads from 1968, history of first racescartoons and lots more. One or two curled up edges. Rare $12

Cycling Book of Maintenance 1954 135pp. Exactly what it says it is with some nice line drawings. Eight pages of ads at the back including GB and BSA. Softback. Excellent condition. $15

My Cycling Life by Medwin Clutterbuck. Amateur published 80pp booklet. Medwin Clutterbuck was a life long cyclist and rode 1000 mile in Europe and Britain from the 1920s right up to the 1980s. Fascinating account, some photos from his later tours. $12

Fat Man on a Roman Road by Tom Vernon published by Michael Joseph 1983 304pp. Exploring Britain by Roman road from the south-west to the North-east. A touring classic and a great read. Hardback, excellent condition with colour dustjacket $18

Scientific Training for Cycling by C R Woodard published by Temple Press 1951 66pp Lovely little booklet with some good photos of Coppi, Cyril Cartwright, Aries van Vliet, Reg Harris and Margaret Wilson in action Very Good condition softback $15

Sturmey Archer catalogues and Parts Lists, late 1930s. Parts list with exploded diagrams for AB, BF and BR hub brakes, Ditto for KB hub and BF, BR brakes, Ditto for KT hub and BRT, BFT tandem hub brakes, catalogue sheet for 1938 hubs includes lovely pictures of Sid Ferris, Bert James and Charles Holland who broke place to place records on hub gears around this time together with details of their achievemets, and a similar catalogue sheet from about 1947 with Tommy Godwin who rode 100,000 miles in 499 days in 1939 to 1940. All four for $40.
