What I can't fathom is why he thinks that raising the minimum bid to $2,500 is more likely to result in a sale. While it is quite possible that he knows more about pottery than lugged steel, with that much positive feedback, he should know how eBay works and something of the psychology of the buyers that use eBay. While there are examples where a second listing of an unsold item at a higher price will bring out buyers, they don't generally increase by that amount. Do you suppose that the current pricing reflects the reserve amounts previously set for these bicycles?

Charlie Young Honeybrook, PA Wishing that he had an example of virtually any of the vintage "Pinnacle" specimens recently cited to ride, but rejoicing that he has the modern day "equivalent", a full Record equipped 2000 Mondonico EL-OS and a bunch of 70's also rans.
