Warren,

Without a more detailed description, they could be old Record, but they could also be Gran Sport. Yes, Gran Sport components were panto'd the same way as Record. It is rarer to see the GS gruppo that extensively panto'd, but they did it. The diamond pattern on the levers and the Italian national stripes on the calipers were the most common pattern used by the Ital. manufacturers. The letter "G" is hard for me to identify. Typically, Guerciotti used a "G", surrounded by a star. Grandis spelled their name out, and Gios used their "GT" (Gios Torino) logo or spelled it out. I'm having a mental block, what other high end Italian manuf. starts with a "G" ?
