I am new to the discussions - granted I don't seem to be as irritated by discussions of old shoes because my email browser lets me take my mouse and move down past things that I am not interested in. Some of you are older than me and lived through the days I am interested in learning about. My grandfather took up riding a fixed gear in races across New England because his son my Uncle and his Nephew wanted to race bikes. My Uncle and Mother's Cousin had Paramount my Grandfather had an older Yale - They are all dead now and their bikes forgotten. This is my familles past I have been riding and playing with bikes since the 80s. If anyone has stories about racing post W.W.II New England lets talk. I would be eager to listen. PS I guess I am young enough to not get irritated by discussions about shoes - I do wonder where all of you get the time to read all the postings I work 10 hour days.
