The last issue of Cycle Sport had a nice feature on Battaglin and the 81 Giro. The feature has some neat sidebars that give a glimpse what was happening in the world and with cycling at the time too as far as fads, equipment, etc...

The Rare Groove last month featured Joachim Agostinho and the article was amazing. Since I'm a young one too and didn't get started till about 85 I missed the heyday and had never heard of him till now.

It offsets the new classic ride feature where the test ride a new bike on some tuff sections of major races...
