Every once in a while very strange things happen, well, the Simplex front derailleur is currently at $970.00 with about 3 hours left. This has got to be one of the all-time records for a vintage part. Along with the price paid for the JUY 543 rear derailleur, @$775.00, total nearly $1800, that's far more than I paid for a COMPLETE bike with those two parts on it(although, not NOS). Makes me wonder what a complete bike would fetch!!
