Finally, my long-time Sunday morning riding buddy told me he wants something lightweight. And I told him I'd check what's available from ye olde Rendezvous list:
Here's the specs: Under $200 for the F&F, cosmetic condition not important, decals not important, but quality steel, either 531 or Columbus, and not wrecked, straight frame and fork.
He wants braze-ons, including water bottle, downtube shifter bosses, brake cable guides, perhaps a pump peg (not necessary, I would guess.), not a front derailleur braze-on.
Would any member who has such an bike, please contact me off list? I would particularly like to see jpegs.
