dale, etc... that is not a fisher fork crown. it is an investment cast masi crown. it, the lugs, and the (not engraved) seat stay plugs were made by Microfusione Italiana. i would bet that the shell, too, was cast by that time, rendering the 'M' not a cut-out, but a cast-in. the original prestige frames were beautiful. i can't address the geometry changes, but these frames were a' la the gran criteriums, but with cast frame parts. over the years, the dropout filing details also changed. this frame has an evolved version in which the typical 'scalloped' stay-ends, done with a 10" rat-tail file, (or similar), is replaced with the 'angled' bevel shown in the pics. a nice frame! enjoy it, wayne. e-RICHIE
