I have sorted out some more bits and pieces. All items are priced in $. Postage will be extra charged at cost. Enquire for actual cost if you like before deciding. Payment can be made in cash with dollars or by money order in Pounds sterling ($1.40 to 1 pound sterling). American Express Travellers cheques are also fine. Regards Hilary Stone

Simplex Tour de France 4-speed 1/8in rear derailleur with plastic pulleys. This is one of the last Simplex Tour de France rear mechs and has the later style winged logo There is a very small amount of damage to the edge of the top pivot bolt (which is the correct one with the fancy logo). However it obviously has only seen a little light use judging by the condition of the rest. This is an exceptionally rare Simplex rear derailleur though obviously not as high in the desirability stakes as the 543, hence $175

Simplex JUY 51 4-speed 3/32in rear derailleur. One of the nicest shifting rear derailleurs from the 50s (and a much better shifter than the Campag Gran Sport though nothing like as tough). Excellent, virtually unused condition $145

GB spear point aluminium stem 8cm. Classic stem from 50s and 60s. Excellent condition, no scratches or bruising of any significance. Expander bolt head features a red. Chrome clamp head has some surface rust $30

Ideale Model 75 Cyclo-Tourist saddle. Unused but obviously has been in a box with other bits. A few minor scrapes. The tension adjuster bolt has never been moved and the clip has never been fastened to a seatpin. However I have never seen another of these saddles. It has twin wires underneath with a single coil spring in the upper wire at the rear. It is a short saddle with a deep indentation down the middle just like some modern Terry saddles and others. Front rivets appear slightly pulled though why I do not know. A very rare piece for a classic French tourer $140

Simplex retrofriction levers (pair) to fit braze on bosses. Perfect unmarked condition. The best friction lever ever made and the choice of many pro riders in late 70s and early 80s even when riding with Campy derailleurs $35

Holdsworthy Aids Catalogue 1966-67 Cover is quite grubby and there are biro marks on the rear cover. Very slight faint staining to tops of a few pages. Lists all the Campy equipment Gran Sport, Record and Cyclo Benelux, Simplex, Mafac, Universal, Stronglight etc etc Holdsworthy were the British Campy importers but also brought in much else besides. 92pp $25

Simplex LJ23 front derailleur NOS. This is the pushrod operated front mech with the plastic body, front aluminium clamp and of course steel cage. As used on so many bikes from the 60s and 70s Mint $30

Cyclo double chainwheel set to fit Stronglight steel cranks etc 48/34T and 1/8in wide chain. As used on many French tourers from the 40s and 50s. Teeth have been used but show virtually no signs of wear. However needs replating, no deep pitting, just a little surface rust on the outerr ring with a bit more on the inner A rare item $45

Bluemels Noweight celluloid pump for 16in piump pegs. Excellent virtually unused condition. Ideal accessory to complete an English bike from the 30s through to the 50s $45

Duprat Maxiplume aluminium cottered cranks. 170mm French pedal threads. Very rare cranks from the 1940s or early 1950s to take 5-pin rings Stronglight, TA etc. I have some suitable single 5-pin Stronglight rings available. A few very minor scratches and some scarring around the pedal eyes but nothing else and certainly no cracks around the cotter holes. $125

Lyotard No 45 aluminium and steel quill pedals with solid steel centres. These pedals were produced with minor design changes from 1935 or so right through to the 1970s. They are a good quality quill pedal suitable for most lightweights. NOS and perfect $55

The Complete Cyclist by R J Way published c1950 by Wells Gardner119pp This is is one of the nicest period books available with lots of great line drawings of components and frames Thanet Silverlight, Paris Galibier and Bates are amongst those illustrated. Great little book, pity its printed on cheap paper. Complete with slightly tatty dustjacket $35

Zeus Gran Sport small flange aluminium hubs similar to Campag Tipo NOS and perfect condition 28H with box $55

Campagnolo stainless steel outers for handlebar end controls; the perfect piece for finishing off the cabling. Still have standard stainless outers for rear derailleur at $6 the handlebar end control lengths are $20
