I have one of the new giro d'italia bikes which came in the bright red. Mine devoloped a problem with rust due to not checking for moisture in the stays after they were chromed. The company that replaced them and checked the rest of the bike said the assembly on the rest of the frame was of excellant quality. The bike handles superbly and I would be willing to stack it quality wise against any new or classic bike. It's now a medium green and I've had 3 serious offers at work for it in the last two weeks. So there's still a lot of interest in the brand. Also seems interesting that I never see any old or classic examples, and very few modern examples appearing on ebay. -Russell Roth
