Here is the situation. While I will be bringing along my classic 1982 Trek 728 touring bike, I'll also be bringing a modern aluminum tandem (okay, no rotten tomato throwing please), as well as my beloved stoker and wife, Janet. The classic Trek tourer is nice, but Janet comes first, and we will be riding the modern tandem on Sunday's ride. Hopefully this won't cause great consternation or convulsing. ;-) If it is any saving grace, I will be wearing wool shorts and a wool jersey, as I do on most rides, not just at classic rides.

We probably won't make it to the Saturday morning ride, but we hope to make it to the Saturday afternoon pre-Cirque events. In any event, we'll see you all at the Sunday ride, show, and swap. What's the criteria for displaying a bike. I am the original owner of the Trek 728 and it is all original except the rims, spokes, and the ususal consumables like tires, tubes, etc.

Thanks.
