Interesting! I wonder if our differing experiences were related to using different brands of seats. It's possible that the angle of the rails or the type of plating could have an effect on the post's ability to hold the seat in place. (For whatever it's worth, I used a Sella San Marco Concor.) Perhaps it was due to riding style, regardless of the difference in rider weight. Either way, I did enjoy the interesting appearance of the clamping mechanism. Regards, Fred Rednor
