With much regret (and gnashing of teeth) neither myself nor Richie Sachs will be attending this weekend's Cirque. We had planned to come together---it is a long drive by oneself! The reasons are several and while all excuses are lame, our reasons are less lame than some. I will spare you all.
Anyway, I am still holding a reservation in my name at the Battleground Inn from Friday thru Sunday night. I think it is possible to offer this room to the first person who asks from the List. So drop me a line if you need a place to stay. It is, btw, a "smoking" room since that was all they had left when I put in my dibs sometime back.
