The "Tour of California" was a stage race in the Sierra Nevadas in 1971, won by Mike Neel and with most top American riders of the time and a smattering of Mexican (including a Windsor sponsored team) Canadian and a few European riders. I have a 1972 Northern California cycling yearbook with the story; one of these years I'll own or borrow a scanner and be able to spread it out to the list if anyone's interested. A "Tour of California:" poster would be a neat old artifact indeed!
