Allege Special tubing is Peugeot gaspipe, indicating the UO-8 model or lower, as do cottered cranks. In the 70's, UO-8s had QR hubs, so wingnuts would indicate a model below UO-8, perhaps an AO-8. This is pretty much an entry-level Peugeot sport/recreation bike, much better than the Huffys and Murrays of the time, but probably not "collectable".
