Ok admonish me, it's only a classicly inspired (circa 1900) bike. I like Ibis, in fact by current standards I guess they are about as good as it gets but that's a lot of money.

Makes me feel better about the Pestmann project and it came with two brakes.

So far no one knows anything about the Pestmann or the TWF or W marked components on it. Although definately French they are English threaded. Leonard Bulger thinks some other company merged with Stronglight in the early 50s or so. Any ideas?

How old are Wienmann 720 sidepulls with 11mm brass nuts for the shoes and shaft ends? A number of the other fittings are brass, the springs wrap around the caliper rather than engage the nut and the cable clamp bolt is 9mm rather than 8. Pre or post 1950?
