I had finally found an old 3TTT bar in a 42 width at my LBS. It was of course slightly bent in a crash, briefly thought about trying to straighten it but decided against it. Probably a good choice.

Question regarding the AVA bars that seem to crack or break: Are they bulged near the stem and is that where they crack? (are we counting a crack being as good as a break? I mean no one is riding cracked bars are they?)

BTW: how is that sleeve on a Cinelli actually connected to the bar? Is it just an interference fit? Has anyone ever rotated the bars within the sleeve? Sorry for so many questions so early.
