takao has a good point. additionally, derosa frames used pressed lugs until 1980, or so. len preheim and i were at their workshop in 1979 on the very day that one of the 3 sons took a pair of finessed dubois lugs to microfusione italiana to supply as a sample of what was to be cast. not much changed through the 70s, except maybe geometry, and added braze-ons. the ebay frame has the hallmarks of an early 70s frame owing to its few braze-ons. i think pantographed crowns and stay caps were on the early/mid 70s frames. later in the decade, cable mounts on top tubes were added. let's remember that these were not highly produced frames then. so details and braze-ons could have varied during the period. e-RICHIE http://www.richardsachs.com
