WHITCOMB 22in TRACK FRAME 1950s I was most surprised when this frame didn¹t sell on Ebay. It is really very beautiful. This is a very rare example of a 22in (centre to top) Whitcomb track frame and was according to the shop built around 1955. It has a 22in top tube and features the most beautifully hand cut and finely filed cast lugs which look as if they started out as Oscar Egg lugs. The lugs have beautiful small triangular windows. The bottom bracket has been drilled for lightness and the seatstay bridge is a very graceful slender curved affair. The round section forks are fully chromed and the chrome is in very good order. There are race number bosses on the top tube. The frame is in excellent order the only small damage are a couple of very small dents on the top tube which are honurable battle wounds on a 45 year old track frame. I have never seen a Whitcomb frame of such quality. You should be able to view pictures at http://images.andale.com/f2/118/129/2070911/990453073306_Whitcomb.jpg I¹ve knocked a bit off what I had as a reserve on ebay hence $220.

Airlite large flange rear gear/fixed hub Threads for multiple freewheel on one side and for a fixed sprocket on the other side The chrome centre barrels are excellent there¹s a tiny amount rust pinholing but it is sufficiently little that it is not immediately obvious. The bearings feel nice and the threads are all good as are the alloy flanges. $70

A pair GB wing nuts to suit hubs with British threaded axles Excellent condition $25

Mafac Racer Dural Forge brake calipers complete with new straddle wires, frame hangers and straddle wire bridges Complete with correct brake blocks (excellent on one brake, quite worn on the other) > will polish up very easily $75

Trivelox gear (with tension spring and mount) with original Trivelox hub with built-in freewheel and 3 sprockets, top tube gear control and control wire. All NOS and perfect. This is the type of Trivelox where the freewheel does not slide sideways. Probably either just late 30s or late 40s. $95

3TTT black suede padded saddle NOS Excellent condition 1970s $40

Cyclo Benelux Mark 12 gear This is one of the rarest of Cyclo¹s gears and was made from 1956 onwards. It can adapted for 4 or 5-speed freewheels. This example is in very good condition apart from the toggle chain being a little rusty. I can supply copies of the operating instructions. $65

GB 10cm aluminium Spear point stem. Excellent condition apart from a small mark on the spear point I suspect this can be polished out. Complete with expander bolt and nose clip bolt both could possibly do with could with replating. $35
