There are all kinds of "predictors" and genetic elements that come into play, but sometimes these things "just happen." One of my closest friends had breast cancer at 30. He was male with no family history, cyclist and health oriented, had excellent eating habits with very little red meat but lots of fish. He had none of the predictors and even though they caught it a little late he's healthy and been in remission for 4 years. His doctors still can't explain why or how he got cancer but I can only hope it never comes back to haunt him.
