I would love to see a website with more information on Carltons. I have two framesets which I recently acquired; one is much like yours, with the Capella lugs, but a monochromatic repaint and the wrong downtube transgers. The other is earlym '50s (I think!) with different lugs, a similar incorrect repaint, and is apprently built with Accles and Pollack tubing. I would like to find someone who can help me date both, as well as suggest color schemes for restoration, and an idea on correct componentry.
