Let's see.., all 4 riders were jumping on & off the bike without adjusting the saddle height - I don't think the little guy could have reached the pedal's, especially not following Cyrill! They of course taped Dave's foot to the pedal - did they start out with toe-clips? And, oh by the way, he (Dave), made up an awful lot of ground on that last lap, didn't he? Finished watching Breaking Away the other night. It raises a couple of questions. The bike looks like it is my size, anyone know what size it was, not that I would buy it if I could find it. Also, does anyone know the fate of that Masi? Was it an Italian or a California Masi?
At the end of the movie during the race there were a few more blunders.
