BoBs, CRs, Bought a chainring for my fixie, made prompt payment with a postal check. 2 weeks later,no ring, so I inquired and the guy said he hadn't seen the check. He's local. Given him a benefit of the doubt, I got another postal check and sent it. Only then did I get the ring, about a month later. When I bought the second postal check, I also paid them to track down the first one. Today a letter from the postal service came, with a record copy of the first check cashed and deposited to the guy's account the day after I sent it.
This guy's got a sterling transaction record on Ebay, and he very active .
GS Handley's name. I'm sure a number of you here or on the CR list have dealt with him. I emailed him asking for a refund of the check plus postal service fee but haven't heard from him.
What say you group?. Give him some more time or ....
