VeloSolex apparently manufactured bicycles as well as mopeds and carburetors.VW used Solex Carbs. I won an EBay auction a few months ago for an old Velosolex "Parisian" model. A real beater but I needed a Rigida Chromulux front wheel for a Peugeot UO-8 project. Came with AVA "death bars", Mafac RACER calipers, Solida Crank, Simplex Prestige RD, Normandy Hubs, Etc. One of the rear stays is bent a little. Paid $5 and had it delivered locally so no shipping charges! The seller was a local bike courier/drummer with lots of tats and piercings. The frame is currently hanging in my basement.
