While searching ebay this afternoon, I came across a set of used MAFAC
"Dural Forge" brakes the seller lists as from the 50's. Closer examination
shows clearly the red plastic bushing that indicates mid 60's. I was told
that the 50's version of this brake had ball bearing pivots with an oil
hole, something these do not have. I see our friend "Kauzo" is bidding. Go
