I attached a plastic/nylon under-BB cable guide to Gaelen's little Amacco as part of his barcon upgrade. Since the frame is solid chrome, I didn't want to drill and tap it, so we just super-glued the guide on. It lasted about 2 years, then we re-glued it.

SuperGlue Gel is what we used. I hate making permanent changes to old frames.
