There is a sort of 'gray market' for recent production Italian built Masi's. Two years ago after I bid on a few eBay Masi offerings, I recieved an unsolicited email from a fellow offering me one of Alberto's "Masi" frames. The explanation was, "you can't get them here, but I have a source that ships them from the shop where they're made." He was clearly not trying to sell me a Milano, but rather an imported Masi.

I passed on the deal.

I do have one of the Torelli imported Mondonico Masi's (Team 3V) which is actually one of my favorite bikes. Want more blasphemy? My Rivendell Road rides alot like my 1976 Masi GC !
