After looking at the pictures, and noting that the Dick Power bike is indeed drilled for a brake, I keep thinking it would be ideal if kitted out with an old steel Universal sidepull. Then you could ride it in full wool, tubulars wrapped around your shoulders, bottle cage mounted on the stem ... and be the ultimate old-style hard guy ....
