Sounds like you're in "Digest" mode. Do you get one big e-mail each day that contains all the messages? That's digest. The list "robot" collects CR messages as they trickle in, then makes a digest, and by the time you get that, those of us in regular mode have seen and replied to individual e-mails already. I recommend turning that off, go to regular mode where the messages trickle into your mailbox as they're sent. Not just for quick response to sale items, but for lots of reasons - I hate digest!

To keep them from flooding your inbox and making it impossible to find your other e-mails people send you, I recommend making another inbox folder if your reader software allows it (most do), call it CR or whatever, and add a filter or rule that makes incoming CR mail go right into that folder. Most e-mail readers have this capability and it's usually not hard to set up, look in Help for "Rules" (Outlook) or "Filters" (Netscape, Eudora). Sheldon Brown has an article on this too, sorry I don't have the URL but you might want to search his site.

Once you have this set up you won't believe you ever put up with digest.
