I have a 1970s Gitane Tour De France and I am trying to gain knowledge
and I have a few questions. On the bike, it has a decal that reads "service
course". Do all Tour De Frances have that, or what is the difference between
the two? Also, it has a decal that reads "custom made". Is that a hoax or was
it actually custom made? It is a wonderrful bike, and it is unique because it
was my grandmas (Im 15). I recently got into road bikes and saw it sitting
behind the shed and asked if I could have it. I am trying to fix it up as
much as possible. If anybody has ANY information on my bike let me know,
Also, if you know where I can get new decals. They are the chrome type.
