What a great day! Our gracious host, Matt Gorski, outdid himself this time.

We drove 760 miles roundtrip for this one and it was worth it. Peter put together a 61cm 1963 Bianchi Specialissimo for me and he rode his beautiful green 1965 Bianchi Specialissimo. And not only "manly men" ride fixed gear bikes: I got to ride Jim Cunningham's beautiful orange Sturmey-Archer 3-speed fixed gear for a part of the ride...very slick. (Chicks can ride track bikes too!) I'm sure a more humorous report will follow from Bayliss Headquarters, so I'll sign off with this: you Right-Coasters are really missing out. We had it all today: bikes, beaches, bikinis, surfboards, Chianti, birthday cake, and all the wonderful camaraderie one could ask for.

Thanks Matt. It was a memorable day.
