Warren,

Regarding Masi prestige frames, look it over carefully. Some of the early ones (early 70's) were rather inconsistent and a bit rough at times. By 1980 they are probably better off in most cases due to investment cast lugs being the rule of the day by that time. I suspect the Italians lost interest in filing lugs the hard way judging by some of the earlier Masi Prestige frames from Italy using DuBois lugs I've seen. Good luck.
