We should note that Brian Robinson of GB finished the Tour in 1938 and was still finishing in 1961. Wow, if it is the same gentleman he had a long run indeed in a very tough sport. Those Brit's sure are plucky.

Brian Robinson, I have heard of over the years but I did not realize he raced and completed so many TDF.
