Brian Robinson first participated in the Tour in 1955.

His TdF record is as follows:

ROBINSON Brian 1955 (29.) 1956 (14.) 1957 (not ranked) 1958 (not ranked) 1959 (19.) 1960 (26.) 1961 (53.)

There were only 3 Britons participating in the Tour prior to 1955.
