This nice drawing-attention-to post reminds a hugely important point about all this.. Seeing this kind of item, which I personally will not bid on, still gives me great pleasure!! I have never seen Gillot wheel covers! They are cool and if it were not for this auction and that "outing", I might never have glimpsed the darn things!

Not all of us can gobble up every neato item that goes up for auction, but at least we can have our experience broadened by taking a look at it while it is on the market. I think the diligent diehard buyers are well aware early-on of the desirable items.. The johnny come latelys are rarely as willing to bid or bid competitively on rare goods.

So I say, thanks tons to those members who clue me in on the neat stuff that comes up at auction. Please keep it up! I honestly do not have the time to scour the Ebay lists and I love getting a peek when nifty stuff pops up!
