KARRIMOR SADDLEBAG SUPPORT 1950s/60s the saddlebag straps to the support which has steel prongs that sit in the saddle bag strap holes of most Brooks saddles - not Brooks Pro or Sprinters though. And one strap - I normally use a toestrap - goes around the seatpin. It is 100% secure and quickly lifts off if you¹re shopping or stopping for liquid refreshment! $30

CYCLO ALUMINIUM SPRINT CARRIERS very good condition these fit under your front wheel nuts and allow you to carry a spare set of wheels. They were much used in England to carry you best set of wheels to the track meeting or start of the time trial. Rare version in aluminium $25

CINELLI RECORD 9.5cm STEM from the 1970s with the old style Cinelli logo. There are two fine scratches on the top but are not unsightly. The wedge clamp ridges are lovely and crisp so bar slippage should not be a problem. $45
TOMMY SIMPSON AUTOBIOGRAPHY CYCLING IS MY LIFE first published in 1965. 180 pages long it is well ilustrated and details Tommy¹s career as Britain¹s most successful racing cyclist of the 1960s and arguably of all time. He was the first British rider to wear the Yellow Jersey in the Tour de France and won the World Professional Road Championship in 1965. This copy is in excellent condition and is com plete with dust jacket. $45
STRATA SOUTH OF FRANCE BARS from the 1940s or 1950s based on the design popularised by Vietto, the top French rider. Strata were one of a number of British cycle component companies that sprang up at the end of WWII. They have a little grooving around the central section but are in my opinion fine to ride. $45
STRONGLIGHT 49D CHAINSET 170mm cranks with 47, 36, 29TTA chainrings. These are the earlier slender style of Stronglight 49D cranks ans date from the 1950s or 60s. In very good condition with just a very few small marks. All threads and tapers are peerfect. Chainrings are a little worn. $120
PAIR OF LYTALLOY BRAKE LEVERS NOS Lytalloy was Hobbs of Barbican¹s trademark for their components. These are very rare even in Britain and feature a lovely aluminium clip. $40
