Mike,

There is not much you can do to the crankset because it is anodized. Your only remedy for removing scratches would be to remove the anodizing and polish the entire crank I suspect that is more than you are willing to tackle. Kerosene is the best all around degreaser. Use solvent gloves for protection.

Polishing titanium is almost as easy as polishing aluminum. Use the same compound/rouge/polish as you would for aluminum. If you do this by hand, you will get it brighter, but not remove any scratches. If you have a bench grinder, you can buy a buffing wheel (get 1/4" - 3/8" sewn w/ 1/2" face, not loosely gathered type) and compound (white for stainless), this will remove scratches and mirror polish it. You will loose the Campy logo on the post, unless you mask it off. Use aluminum foil tape for masking
