I believe in the first few years of the NR der,. they were not stamped with a date. "Patent Campagnolo" was stamped in a different area than where we are used to seeing. It was stamped between the hanger bolt and the dropout. In other words, at a 90 degrees in relation to where we are used to seeing (being parrallel to the dropout). I don't recall seeing dates appear untill '70, but I could easily be wrong. The last year of date stamping was '84, I think. I can't remember, but were some stamped with a code #, like the crankarms (numbers within a square)?
