Hi Folks, This is a NOS wheelset from an old Falcon which I took out of the box and am parting out. (I'm keeping the frame and Brooks B15). Here's the skinny:
Hubs: Campy Tipo, large flange, with skewer.
Rims: Say "Rigida Chrolux". That is followed by a star and a "72" in a diamond. I believe that this might be the year of manufacture. That would fit, as I believe the bike to be a "73. These are the old Chromed, serated steel rims that someone on this list was looking for a few months ago.
Spokes: Robergel (sp?) There is a capitol R on the spokeheads, and I think that was Robergel. They are straight gauge, and seem non stainless, although there is no rust.
Tires: are gumwall, look, in terms of condition, as though they came from a shop today instead of haveing been stuck away for 27 years. They read "The Special IRC Tire' and "Keep Inflated to 50 lbs"
$100.00 plus shipping.
Thanks, Karl Eicher
