I look forward to seeing the pix of the 'Trout. I sponsored an albert E frame building course with Georgetown cycle Sport but didn't attend, back in the heyday of the early 1970's

He built us many 'Alpine' team bikes that were limiteds. Our Stable today includes several signature A's, Limiteds, and a couple of Signature track machines.

Although the folk at Waterford will not claim that any of them has been the actual builder since 1959, their claim to fame is that they have been making professional American frames for nearly 70 years, referring of course tothe combined Paramount/Waterford operation.

I have personally ridden and represented the Paramount and Waterford since 1972 and sold Eisentrauts when they were available to dealers back then as well.

The W-13 Waterford, while it is not labeled as a Paramount, is the most authentic recreation of the old Paramount, down to the same factory, lugs, lug lining, and paint schemes. This is one very awesome memory jogger as well as having the technology to perform and the integrity to last.

For some reason, i hope not too cynical, I still have sonmething in me that steers me towards the history aspect ofthe actual older bikes, even though one of my bikes is a 9 year old Waterford.

This may seem a bit counter-business, since the shop sells Waterfords and Rivendells.

Of course the seven pages double spaced frames and bikes are up for grabs as well, but i can't tell you that as i haven't established prices.

Hope to see y'all at the Cirque.

> For those of you in the market for a new frame I'd highly encourage you to check out the longest building American frame builder--Albert Eisentraut (If there's someone else that started before 1959 and is still doing it, my mistake!). I just received my third frame from him spread over twenty five years ("A" Frame, Limited, and this one). It was $2200 and I provided the Nervex Pros. >>
